Help! I've got finger fatigue from hitting the refresh button!

I am stalking my email for word of our visa appointment, it should be here any moment! It is a struggle against the flesh not to get anxious over these final steps.

These were the first verses I read of the new year:

"For God alone my soul waits in silence, from him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress: I shall not be greatly shaken." Psalm 62 :1-2

A pretty powerful reminder for a day like today (add two sick kids, little sleep tending to them at night, lots of phone calls, and strong tornado warning in January to my finger fatigue aliment) :) !

Added: Monday, I had twice as many "visits" as I did "visitors", so you all must be getting finger fatigue as well! :)

Praying you get your date quickly. Hope your kiddos are feeling better and sleep better tonight.

I can only imagine how many times you have checked your email, I've checked your blog many times today for news. :)

Whitney- remember "... the Lord will fight for you. You need only to be still." Exodus 14:14 It's not about "hanging in there" this week; it's about letting go. God does not want us to hang on to Him, inferring strenuously exhausting effort on our part, but rather be cradled by Him so that we realize the effort does not belong to us. Rest peacefully!

Hi - I was re-living last year and re-reading my own blog and found your comments from my pick-up trip. I click over here and looks like you're ready for your pick-up trip! So glad I'm here for the ride.
Eli is just absolutely adorable! So precious.
Praying for your refresh button to net results tomorrow!

Loving you all,
